EVO ICL stands for Implantable Collamer Lens. It’s a thin lens placed inside the eye to correct nearsightedness, with an option for people who also have astigmatism.
The lens sits behind the colored part of your eye, called the iris, and in front of your natural lens. Your natural lens stays in place, and no corneal tissue is removed.
EVO ICL is intended to reduce your dependence on glasses or contacts for distance vision. Results vary, and an evaluation is needed to determine whether it’s right for your eyes.
EVO ICL is $3,900 per eye at Utah Valley Eye Center. We have disounts for students, military, healthcare workers, educators, fire fighters, and police officers.
The cost of EVO ICL includes preoperative testing, surgery, and one year of follow-up care.
We offer in house financing at 0% interest for most plans.

I had been considering eye corrective surgery for years and was so nervous about it until I met Dr. Gardiner and his team. I did the EVO ICL surgery and I could not be happier with my experience. Dr. Gardiner is awesome and helped me feel at ease through the whole process. He’d respond quickly with any questions I had and then would follow up later to make sure everything was ok. His team was so kind. They even worked with my schedule so I could get my surgery done before a trip. An amazing experience, cannot recommend them enough!

Dr.Gardiner took his time explaining how the EVO ICL procedure would be and did an amazing job answering any questions about it. I had it done a week ago and it’s life changing my miopía was too high for lasik so I chose this route instead. Now I don’t need to worry about glasses that were too thick or having to put on contacts every morning. I went from -14 and -13.5 to now 20/20 vision
